thanks venkat. i have tried in table & form datasource. how to set form's datasource level. i have draged the field in to my design (Grid ) and put the field property - passwordStyle as 'yes'. but it was not display the astrick charecters in Grid's field. how to get it?

Go to the password field property sheet, and set the password style
yes.The password you entered will be stored as string.For further reference
see the SysUserSetup form in the AOT under the form node.
