thanks for ur help
i have tried as u said, but the value will not be set in the required
place.
as u said i have created a display method in the table level and in my form
where the value to be shown, i have add the DataMethod property to that
method, but the value will not be displayed on my form
for this i need to create any Extended Data Type
help me with some sample code plz.....

Hai,
Use the Write a display method and specify the method name in the
property sheet
of the warning field
ex:
display str warning()
{
/// Your query.......
return <tablename>.warning;
}
