I am trying to create a report for cheque printing.
I have three sections:
1. Copy of the cheque
2. Remittance Advice
3. The actual cheque
These 3 sections are all have the same control number:
ProgrammableSection(1):CopyOfCheque
ProgrammableSection(1):RemittanceAdvice
ProgrammableSection(1):Cheque
As they all only need to execute once.
On the remittance advice section, I need the following (a name and address
on the left and a remittance advice on the right):
Name Invoice1: Invoice1Amount
Address line 1 Invoice2: Invoice2Amount
Address line 2 Invoice3: Invoice3Amount
Address line 3 Invoice4: Invoice4Amount
Etc.
|_____________________|
Where these Invoices and
amounts are their own
programmable section.
I need the Invoice and Amounts on the right side of the remittance advice to
be their own programmable section because I query a database for all
invoices relevant to the cheque number of the cheque and print them out,
exactly at that location on the Remittance Advice section - and if I keep
them part of the existing programmable section (i.e.1), a cheque will print
for every invoice related to that cheque number, and I don't want that.
Is there a way to create such a vertical programmable section, or to mimic
something similar to a vertical programmable section.
Regards
Melandie
