That means you still did not purchase license. Are you going to purchase
license? Let me know...

          Hi Pplz,

Thank you for the help!

but the thing is we are not Microsoft partner, so one of you have to send me
link or zip file for test company for AXPATA (if possible).
i am working on client side and wanted to implement AXAPTA. the project has
been outsourced prior to my joining. now company wanted me to liaison with
vendor and get this project finished in cost effective manner.

I've many gray areas and the hierarchy is

1) i am based in head office and the implementation will take place at one
of our child company.

2) this child company doesn't know much about their business process. they
are in manufacturing industry (valves manufacturing,
servicing, trading)

3) this child company want to get benefit of this implementation and willing
to change its conventional business process to the industry standards (with
out having knowledge that what they are but assuming would help us and will
make the operation efficient)

4) have no work flows, no documentation for requirements, no idea what we
looking for but just a statement "Automate the Whole process"

Now

i just stopped vendor to halt every activity till our further instructions.

I've started building work flows for current operations, Believing these
flows will help us to identify our requirements and would be using to
restructure or modify the process if required.

I've managed to download AXAPTA 4.0 and trying to install it. just wanted
to understanding the architecture, integration, DB connectivity, modules and
environment to feel the product so that looking at in first implementation
wont be surprising and will help me to speak efficiently with vendor during
implementation from business as well as technical perspective.

Basically i am AVANTIS (CMMS) Certified Consultant and have participated in
EXCEED (WMS), MSGP(FIN) and MFG Pro implementations.

Regarding AXAPTA implementation i am just trying to prepare myself in
advance and wanted to know the best approach to get "AXAPTA IMPLEMENTED" in
best efficient manner.

>From Business side I've another area that i don't know how AXPATA would be
handling this if any one of you have any idea. the problem is
waste of raw material is still reusable and we use it sometimes how AXAPATA
would be handling it, See Attached Image

I will really appreciate all of your assistance and help on this matter.

Looking forward to hear your most valuable & use full suggestions.

Thanks
Naeem Sarwar
