Microsoft means in case of 3rd party solutions on Microsoft Dynamics AX
Solutions Certified by Microsoft can be of different types. The highest tier
is for solutions offered by Partners which were put on the Industry Builder
Initiative(IBI ) now renamed as MDIS. These solutions can be found on the AX
4.0 global price list released by Microsoft and can be included in the Deluxe
support plan.
There can be other ISV solutions which are not a part of MDIS initiative but
equally good, but you should be careful to note that Microsoft may not stand by
such solutions, and it would help you to verify, on aspects related from
licensing to support of such solutions.
