First you must provide them your new chart of account if you changed in excel sheet to input the opening balances. then by using JV they can input all of the balances in AP,AR, Bank, Inventory. if you are using AX for inventory management, i believe when you have done importing your physical inventory it will automatically post the value of inventory to GL so you don't need to input the Inventory Value. if not then you can input the figures through JV to GL. see the screen shots if you need help let me know General Ledger > Journals > General journal Step 1: Type <Ctrl-N> to create a new journal. Choose from dropdown list. (Opening Balance) if not available you can create one! Step 2: Click on "Lines" button and enter the balances. for more see screen shots.
