Dear Wael, 

Regarding to your request about alerts. 

follow this steps.

1- adjust the user option to recive alerts from adminstration > user 
option > alert filed.

2- creat a batch group from - Basic > Setup > Batch Group

3- creat alert rule on any field by right click and choose creat 
alert rule and choose the event and the user who will recive alerts, 
which you adjust his option on the first step.

4- go to Basic > periodic > Alerts > Change Based Alerts, Select the 
batch Group and the Batch Processing check Box.

5- Run Batch, Basic > Periodic > Batch > Processing, Select the Batch 
Group.

"note, i have a detailed document about sending alerts with popup and 
emails if any need it send me your mail. Thank you.
