[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Username password access to AX instance

HI All

can we setup username/password access for AX instances in AX2009, the
situation is that there is a common destop PC accessible to all the users in
the department, but the requirement is that only certain users should get
log in to AX client by using certain username and password. Is thre any way
to do it in AX2009.
