This mean that your HardDrive Format type is not NTFS, and it's currently FAT32, and this will cause this problem, becuase the Maximum File size that Windows can recognize it whe the File Syste Format is FAT32 is about 4 GB. You can convert the HDD or the Drive you want into NTFS without formatting the Drive, by doing the following:
1- open a command prompt, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Command Prompt. 2- convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs Mahmoud ________________________________ From: Eddie <edwardjosl...@hotmail.com> To: Axapta-Knowledge-Village@yahoogroups.com Sent: Fri, October 9, 2009 9:31:47 AM Subject: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Company import Ax2009 Hi All When trying to import a DAT file into a new company (from Ax2009), we receive ti following error: Error in the file D:\Temp\$tmp0030001 .$$$ Windows error : Error Code: 50110 = Maximum file size exceeded The DAT file is about 4GB.
