[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] how to represent not equal to symbol in query build

Can anyone tell me how to put NOT EQUAL TO symbol in query build. Because the 
below query is not working for me. 

str test;
test ='';
qbr.value(strfmt('%1 != %2',contact.custaccount,test)
