There can be consequences of having a configuration that does not match the status of your Inventory.
For example, if you say Positive only, but leave a lot of Items negative, you find that transactions you wish to perform are blocked. If you can suppress this error condition, I would test Counting journals for example, to ensure nothing illogical happens.
