Woho! this made my day!!! :D
Today i was reading a Linux Magazine that was talking about
OpenEmbedded, and Opie and so on. It more or less said how to install it
on some machines and how to cross-compile the apps. The magazine is
Linux+ DVD, i think there's a webpage somewhere, anyone interested may
ask for the webpage :p

Hmmm... cool!
Here we have some data-sheets, they might be important:

Also in: http://www.mvista.com/company/open/
we can see some words like: "MontaVista supports the spirit of open
source and believes in contributing, participating and publishing our
work and contributions to the many projects in the community."
Could we contact them to get a working kernel, or some drivers? :D
As they say... they could contribute with us.
This looks promising: http://www.pepper.com/linux/
As it seems, the guys from the pepper pad are going to release all
changes to the linux kernel and such. This could really be useful! I'm
going to mail them right away to do this as soon as possible.
