Well, I have an x50v, updated to A05 rom, but I don't think that would
be the problem, unless  there was some bug in the mirrorring mode
functionality in the older roms. You did enable mirror mode, right?
Cause, as Alex said, it tells the pda to put the pxa lcd controller in
charge of the framebuffer output (in stead of the hardware-accelerated
intel chip).

Hopefully more news this nigt...
