Snip.
I had my X50v stolen while I was on holiday, and trying to find an X50v as a replacement is a bit difficult. I might get an X51v, and see what can be done with it. I think the only differences are the FLASH in the device, both the size, and that it is a NAND flash device. With the Nokia 770 being a NAND flash device, there seems to be drivers already written for it, so maybe it is worth having a look. >From my point of view, for the Axim to be useful, it does need to have either Bluetooth or WiFi working, as updating the device is a bit of a PITA otherwise. Until then, I have borrowed a Palm LifeDrive which is quite nice, but it is pretty much at the same stage, linux boots, Opie runs, but no sound, bluetooth or wifi. I'll post when I get my replacement, and maybe try to do some work on getting the x51v working as well if I get one.
