  And you're welcome and encouraged to submit upgraded patches for
inclusion into handhelds.org CVS, to make sure that the great porters'
work is not lost or becomes unusable. In CVS, we're reaching code
standards which will allow us to maintain code for all ports with very
moderate efforts from individual device porters (of course, this
requires following established best practices).
