screen (as prompted on first boot), I can't do it, because calibration
becames an infinite loop (after I press the crosshair in the center of
the screen, it moves back to it start position - top-left), so I can't
go further. And by the way, to get crosshair moving to any next
position, I should press (anywhere on the screen) five or six times.

what it should do is center upper left upper right lower left lower
right > next the trick is you need to peg the crosshair in the center
each time (there may be some sort of checksum to prevent a bad
calibrate)
if that doesn't work i would suggest doing a firmware reload
