I should have included this link as the source of the software I'm trying
out, but yes, this is the version that I'm running.

Well, from the little bit I could see, the X51 touch-screen did react to
stylus input, at least insofar dragging a pointer and tapping for a click
is concerned. I'm not sure about any other possible action that might be
possible (maybe a sustained tap to simulate a right-click like in CE), I
could not test for that.

Oh dear! :-)

Double-whammy, what a pity. In any case, I have this device laying about
doing nothing, and I'm willing to help out where I can. I'm not a
programmer as such, although I've been a Linux sysadmin for about 10 odd
years. This would be a nice project to help out on, even if it forces me a
bit away from my sysadmin(ish) Perl towards a bit more C. Anyways, I would
like to help out. I suppose the first place to start would be to get to
grips with getting a cross-compiling setup going. I'll trawl the WIKI and
other places for tips on this, unless you might have a few pointers that
could save time?
