Your original statistics code above did not compile here on MathAction because MathAction requires that Axiom library code must beging with exactly:: )abbrev ... Typing ')abb' is not enough even though that works in Axiom itself. Look here: [SandBox Statistics] It's great to see some real application code being posted here.
