Yes, you are right that the current FAQ on the Axiom Wiki is just cobbled together from other sources (i.e. "unwritten" in a sense). I think it is a good idea to encourage people to submit questions there. But of course we do encourage people to submit questions anywhere on the wiki - it is an entirely open web site. What we need most I think is for someone to explicitly take on the task of helping to maintain and develop the FAQ.
