So, just to confirm: if you follow all 10 of Martin's steps starting with patch-49 do you obtain a working version of Axiom including Hyperdoc and graphics? If so, I guess we had better worry about what else might be wrong in patch-50. Since AXIOMsys works in patch-50 (so far as we know) but hyperdoc and graphics both fail, that should be a clue but the interaction with Martin's modified build procedure is still entirely unclear to me.
