Heh - cool! Bill, your advice about needing to work on the boot directory for an sbcl port turned out to have some foundation, even after we both thought otherwise! I'll have to go back and take another look at that - I did have boottocl running out of the boot dir at one point with what I think were fairly minor changes, and I think the only reason I stopped working on it was that bookvol5 made asdf choke. Perhaps it would be worth looking at it again.
