I said it is "my impression". By that I mean that the project
appears or looks like it is closed to me. Of course I know
about it from cross-postings to other lists like the aldor
list and the Axiom developer list, but I have never seen any
annoucement about it or any advertisement about it or any
design ideas or other information on the wiki. So to me, yes
it "seems" closed.

Yes I expect that I can, however I am not strongly motivated
to try because I do not know very much about it.

Most open source projects "let the world know" first so that
they can attract interest in the work and maybe more volunteers.

Why not put the output of "make hmtl" on the web now? I think
it is very important.
