Looks like we fixed the issue pre 1.5 release.  The user was on a back level.

I have tried to use msvc 7 client app and had problems with Exceptions passing over the
binary interface (getting ... exceptions). I haven't tried lately though.
 
I general we should try to move towards a newer version of vc, since this actually has a
more standard conforming impl. of C++ and is used on the client side for most projects
nowadays.

I know that some people have been trying to build the client using MSVC7 however, has anyone tried compiling the MSVC6.0 client libs into an msvc 7 app? Should/could  it work?
