I think we should remove support entirely for this option and just rely on ANT. Too many people are asking questions about this and it's just making us look dumb !?

Imposible compile because 'configure' file is missing
-----------------------------------------------------

        Key: AXISCPP-752
        URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXISCPP-752
    Project: Axis-C++
       Type: Bug
   Versions: 1.5 Final
Environment: Linux
   Reporter: jose

I can't compile Axis C++ because the 'configure' file is missing.
I have downloaded the file axis-c-src-linux-current-src.tar (axis-c-1.5.0-linux-src).

What is the file '.package.xml.swp' that comes with the distribution?
