Oh, and I meant to add that --libexecdir is probably the most GNU-ish place to 
install service and module libraries.  I suspect that the directory structure 
of the Axis2/C project is largely derived from the Java one, and so these 
GNU-style package layout suggestions are probably somewhat at odds with that.  
However, in my case I'm installing it along with a lot of other packages, all 
of which follow the GNU standard, so these issues came to the forefront for me. 
 For example, httpd modules that are compiled as dynamically loadable libraries 
live in $INSTALL_PATH/libexec, so it would be nice to have axis2 service and 
module libraries in there too.
