Every developer seems busy these days (which is the excuse everyone says
:)), but we will do our best to fix Jiras. We never drop out any jira
without having valid reason. Most probably before next release

Yeah, if you are in hurry that's the perfect solution. You can get a
fresh checkout from the svn[1] , then do whatever changes that you need
to do[2]. After doing your changes you can create a patch. Since you
don't have karma to commit to svn yet, you can attach that patch to
particular Jira. We can commit that patch to svn then.

Most of the time,number of patches that you have submit is matter when
you getting karma for svn. (that is FYI)
