http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17282 Deserialization performance problem [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|Critical |Enhancement Priority|Other |Medium Target Milestone|--- |post-1.1 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-26 00:42 ------- Hmm.. I do not believe there's going to be anything we can do about this for 1.1 Final. You're working with a fairly large datastructure and the Calendar objects just make it worse given that each individual date value needs to be parsed in addition to creating the objects. As this doesn't necessarily represent a bug (it's more for a performance enhancement request) I'm going to reclassify as an "enhancement" and set the target milestone for Post 1.1. In the meantime, patches are welcome if you happen to figure out how to improve the parsing performance before any of us gets a chance to revisit this.
