Summary: WSDL2Java cannot process documents with fewer operations in a Binding than in the corresp. portType. Product: Axis Version: current (nightly) Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: Other Component: WSDL processing AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The WSDL2Java tool contains a bug that surfaces whenever a WSDL document with fewer operations in a Binding than in the corresponding PortType is processed. The result is uncompilable Java code. The atteched WSDL file is an example of such a document and the following diagnostic is issued when the code generated from the document is compiled: addressfetcher2\AddressBookSOAPBindingStub.java:10: AddressFetcher2.AddressBookS OAPBindingStub should be declared abstract; it does not define getAddressFromNam e(java.lang.String) in AddressFetcher2.AddressBookSOAPBindingStub public class AddressBookSOAPBindingStub extends org.apache.axis.client.Stub impl ements AddressFetcher2.AddressBook { The attached patch solves the problem.
