If we do that people will shoot us in the head. Don't you think. I will try to
review the spec this evening myself.

Subject: SAAJ 1.2 exposes DOM (org.w3c.dom.*) API

Team,

SAAJ 1.2 API spec mandates that javax.xml.soap.SOAPPart should implement
org.w3c.dom.Document and
javax.xml.soap.Node should extend org.w3c.dom.Node. SAAJ RI in JWSDP12 introduces
hard-coded
dependency on Xerces (I think they got rid of dom4j).

Should we do the same? (reuse Xerces Impl classes and check-in a version of xerces say
2.4?).

Thanks,
dims
