You can throw an exception, but not print to stderr/stdout. Keep in mind that many things (my product being one of them) use WSDL2Java via the API, not the command line.
System.exit() - VERY bad. :-)
maybe we should update the regexp searcher tests to look for this string, leaving only a few explicit places where it is allowed.
