It is depend on the way the service has implemented , we can program service and client such a way when client get start it will pull all the related message from server , so in that case client dose not need to listen all the time.

for WS- eventing :).
I just need to get clarified how the client will capture these message. do the client has to have listeners wating for mesages. I'm asking this generally about web services. This is something bothered me for some time.
