I hope that JAX-RPC 2.0 (and 1.1) support is part of the plan for Axis2 - at least as some type of plug-in. Eventually, JAX-RPC 2.0 will probably become part of the J2EE specificaion. So, if we want any of the J2EE containers to use Axis2 (e.g., Geronimo, Jonas, etc.) it has to be there.
IMO, for Axis to remain a viable and at least moderately widely used SOAP platform, it will always need to have good support for all the web services JSRs - adjusted as necessary to work independently of the rest of the J2EE container. > 4.What's the migration plan from 1.x to 2.0?
