As Dims mentioned no. But there is some on-going effort to build a
JAX-WS layer on top of Axis2. I think the progress of that is very good.

I don't think it will help most of *axis* servers. Just look at the
amount of feedback we get from the users. No one so far had attacked us,
as we are not doing JAX-RPC. Rather people have appreciated our approach
of keeping Java specific stuff away from the core.
I think this is a myth created by most J2EE vendors. As Sanjiva once
mentioned, "That's like taking a pig and putting lipstick on it"

I personally like to think about Web services as web services, and
always separate it from J2EE.

Can you try to use JAX-WS implementation we have inside Axis2?

If you really really want JAX-RPC, then you know what to do in an
open-source project :).
