To be honest, I'd be more comfortable if we didn't depend on any snapshots, including maven,,, ones if possible. If those bits become final and the snapshots dissapear and someone wants to build 1.2 in a months time they'd be stuck, no?

Deepal Could we update the pom.xml used by Maven 2 as well to be consistent? I would suggest you do this at the same time when you update etc/project.properties after the axiom and xmlschema releases etc. Right now I noticed the following differences and use of SNAPSHOTS. As far as the maven.xx snapshot dependencies you mention, I guess you could ignore them. <activation.version>1.0-SNAPSHOT</activation.version> <axiom.version>SNAPSHOT</axiom.version> <jibx.version>1.1.2</jibx.version> <neethi.version>SNAPSHOT</neethi.version> <XmlSchema.version>1.2</XmlSchema.version> <tomcat.tribes.version>6.0.10</tomcat.tribes.version> <tomcat.juli.version>6.0.10</tomcat.juli.version> thanks asankha Deepal Jayasinghe wrote: Hi All; We about to release Axis2 1.2 and as AFAIK we can not release 1.2 with any SNAPSHOT dependencies. But if you look at project.properties there we have several of them , so I think we need to get stable release of them before Axis2 1.2 release. Axiom - Will be release 1.2.3 today JIBX - ???? maven.jar.plugin - ?? maven.multiproject.plugin - ?? maven.plugin.plugin - ?? maven.test.plugin - ?? neethi -??? woden - Will release after XMLSchema release XmlSchema - will be able to get a release b4 1.2 jettison - ??? Please update the status of these dependency , whether we can get a stable release b4 1.2 or not.
