Folks, Looks like a few projects are tracking some web site stats using Google Analytics: http://www.google.com/search?q=urchin.js+site:apache.org Should we try to do the same? I checked with infra folks and don't see a problem from their side. WDYT? We'll need to work out how to get everyone access to view the data as i believe the stats are tied to a specific google account.
You can allow everyone to access the reports/statistics by adding their *gmail* accounts using Access Manager [1]. But don't know how practical it would be. [1] http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?answer=26916&hl=en Anyone have suggestions or have used this
before?
It would be easy to set up if all html pages are using a template. If not we need to copy the google <script> tag to every page we want to monitor. thanks,
