The version on the pom states "1.5-beta-2" and effectively even if we
include this into a maven repo will prevent updates from being seen by users
below. Is there a possibility to make this 1.5-SNAPSHOT ? so that anyone
could publish them to the Apache snapshot repo, and others can then pull
back updates?
Yes, that would also help us test things in Geronimo. Without the
maven artifacts published somewhere (either as snapshots or actual RC
artifacts in some temp. repository) it's a bit difficult to test and
keep things in synch.
If there are no objections I would be happy to change the version in
the 1_5 branch to 1.5-SNAPSHOT and publish the artifacts.
+1 from me.. I didn't see any objections to this proposal, so I think
its ok to go ahead, if you can tackle it.. will be helpful to many..
