Thanks,

I did what you said and it worked :-). But I use Ant and I obviously
need more than 'debug="on"' to get the same level of debug as "javac
-g". I used:
...
        <javac srcdir="${src}" destdir="${classes}" debug="on">
...

I saw the following line in the Axis properties file:
    <property name="debuglevel" value="lines,vars,source" />
But this property is never referenced in the sample builds so I dont
know if this is required or not.

How do I make the Ant build the same as "javac -g" so that java2wsdl is
happy?

Regards,

Simon.

Hi Simon,

You need to compile your code using the javac -g ( debug )

And use the Java2WSDL -i (interface) option

Subject: Java2WSDL - preserving service parameter names

Hi,

When I use Java2WSDL it loses the names of the method parameters.

E.g.

   public String getProvider (String name, String orgName, String
providerId, int maxResults) ...

becomes

...
  <wsdl:message name="getProviderRequest">
      <wsdl:part name="in0" type="soapenc:string"/>
      <wsdl:part name="in1" type="soapenc:string"/>
      <wsdl:part name="in2" type="soapenc:string"/>
      <wsdl:part name="in3" type="xsd:int"/>
   </wsdl:message>
...

I.e. The parameter names get changed to in0, in1, in2, in3. How do I
preserve the original names in the generated WSDL?

Thanks,

Simon.
