try dropping the file:/ prefix.

-d, xmlbeans, -g, -u, -ss, -s, -sd, -o,
c:/Java/projects2/axis2-std-1.0testbed\build\output, -p,
testexamples.types]
My question is, again, am I supplying a bad argument?
The WSDL file is that which I have already attached to a previous email.
I have not retested the Java2WSDL generation process to see if that is
fixed, but I will do that next.
