I assume it does. I am using Axis 1.4 and WSS4J v1.5.1 over HTTP protocol over TCP/IP sockets. HTTPS is just is a secured layer over TCP/IP sockets ( SSL ) this is independent of the data being sent over the connection. SOAP protocol ---> HTTP protocol --> TCP/IP protocol ---->
