I downloaded the standard binary distribution from http://ws.apache.org/axis2/1_4_1/installationguide.html in a hope that I don't have to use Tomcat if I have the standalone server. But in the installation directions in http://ws.apache.org/axis2/1_4_1/installationguide.html#servlet_container at Step 3, it asks us to build the WAR file and deploy in Tomcat.
So, my question is that finally I have to access Axis2 using my Tomcat server. So, what is the use of Axis 2 Standalone server?
