when I go through the browser to localhost:7001/axis/index.html, it
shows fine, but if I try to click on either visit or administer axis I
get the same error on the server:

org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException: No suitable Log
constructor

can you hit the servlets from your browser?

Thanks
Gus
