Can Axis Serialize / Deserialize java.util.HashMap? If yes should we add any antry in the WSDD file?

Monika,

For the samples, the deploy.wsdd is in the samples directory.
For you own service, you have to create your own or use another way to deploy your service.
See the Axis user guide on how to do that.

Can someone pls explain , what is this statement from the installation doc for axis suppose to mean

Locate the deployment descriptor for your service
and execute the following command:
java org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient -lhttp://localhost:8080/axis/services/AdminService deploy.wsdd
