In your XML, since maxOccurs isn't specified, it defaults to 1.

The code was changed to make minOccurs=0, maxOccurs=1 create a single Object type instead of an array.  The object can either have a value or be null (which means it occurred 0 times).

This was deemed to make more sense that an array of 0 or 1, not to mention simpler to program to.

Subject: Problem with wsdl2java generator

Hi,

With the utility wsdl2java of 17 of February, based on this portion of the schema

..........

      <xs:element name="securityOut" minOccurs="0">
       <xs:complexType>
        <xs:all minOccurs="0">
         <xs:element name="codePositions" type="CodePositionsType" minOccurs="0">
          <xs:annotation>
           <xs:documentation>3 random positions from a securitycode</xs:documentation>
          </xs:annotation>
         </xs:element>
        </xs:all>
       </xs:complexType>
      </xs:element>
.........

 <xs:complexType name="CodePositionsType">
  <xs:sequence minOccurs="3" maxOccurs="3">
   <xs:element name="position">
    <xs:simpleType>
     <xs:restriction base="xs:byte">
      <xs:minInclusive value="1"/>
      <xs:maxInclusive value="7"/>
     </xs:restriction>
    </xs:simpleType>
   </xs:element>
  </xs:sequence>
 </xs:complexType>
the code produced was

public class SecurityOut implements java.io.Serializable {
    private pt.mycompany.system.CodePositionsType[] codePositions;

.....
}

With the wsdl2java of 12 March the code produced is

public class SecurityOut implements java.io.Serializable {
    private pt.bcp.cidadebcp.webservices.system.CodePositionsType codePositions;

.....
}

This mean, without the array

I supose the first one is the correct one.
Any comments about this would be apreciated.
