There is no xerces.jar in Xerces2.0.1 I also found this is a big problem when I tried to make Xerces2.0.1 and Apache Soap 2.2 work together. I always get "org/apache/xerces/framework/XMLParser not found " error if I include both .jar from Xerces 2.0.1. I had to use Xerces 1.xx eventually. If anyone got Xerces 2.0.1 /Tomcat 4.xx and Soap 2.2 work together, pls let me know. Thanks. -Chengmin

It contains org.w3c.dom.Node. -----Original Message----- From: Walden Mathews [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, April 01, 2002 3:26 PM To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: Two jars if using Xerces Hi, I was about to enter another plea for how to get rid of the "class not found" error for org/w3c/dom/Node.class, specifically to ask where this class is supposed to come from, when I discovered it in the Xerces release jar called "xmlParserAPIs.jar". You need this in addition to "xercesImpl.jar" on your classpath. **************************************************************************** *********** WARNING: All e-mail sent to and from this address will be received or otherwise recorded by the A.G.
