Hi, I had the same kind of problem: I started with a fresh installation of axis which has no server-config.wsdd file at all.
The RC1 release cannot write that config file at all and issues an error message in the tomcat console when the AdminClient is invoked. Updating to the current build from CVS solved this problem. So you have two alternatives: - wait for the rc2 release - check out the current sources from cvs and build it for your own BTW: The intended time when the server-config.wsdd is written is whenever the configuration changes (at least every invocation of AdminClient). Hope this helps, Uli ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jung, Eric (Contractor)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, September 24, 2002 1:10 AM Subject: RE: server-config.wsdd - won't write! > I, too, have problems with this and can't really nail down exactly when > server-config.wsdd is written > (other than when a service is deployed/undeployed). > > -Eric Jung > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Dan Kamins [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Monday, September 23, 2002 6:06 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: server-config.wsdd - won't write! > > > > Various permutations of this question have come up a few times on this list, > > and it seems no consistent solution has been presented. > > I'm using Axis 1.0rc1.
