I've had Axis working with 4.05 and 4.1.12.
What kind of errors are you getting?

Hi Folks
I am desperately trying to get the samples working
with Tomcat 4.0.X and Axis-1.0.
I am able to validate without any problems, then
when I click on the wsdl link after Version, it wants
to save it on disk.
I am unable to get any examples like the Calculator.jws
to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am
using jdk-1.3.X.
