Zafar, Yes I will let you know how it is going over here.. Our project is still in its early stages, so the implementation is weeks from now.. I think we have also more in common, I guess you are also dealing with Arabic, same as me, support for right-to-left is headache! .. java has good support for unicode, but, unlike .NET (I hate to say that), not specific for Arabic, which requires lot of workarounds..
My idea about Struts and Axis is more then just using both of them, but my idea is to integrate them... and this what I am thinking about, and I will give it more time when I have time.. Are you also using EJB Container? .. what application server are you using? .. I havent decided yet if I go toward Weblogic 7.x, or stick with the open source.. Take care, - Rabih Yazbeck, BSc. MSc. Rabih, We are in the process of implementing both struts and axis here in ARAMCO. Sounds like a good idea to share information about this. Please let me know how yours go and I will let you know how mine goes as well. I was wondering if there are any cooperation between Axis and Struts? It sounds weird question, but maybe there will be some reusable components that both can use.. And maybe extending struts controller to intercept soap messages using Axis servlet.. both sharing same model, same business interface... generating xml messages and then forward them to the presentation layer or as soap message.. Just some ideas! Any ideas? - Rabih __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
