It was my mistake, I was little confused. What I meant
is the support for JAXM, javax.xml.messaging, which is
very limited in the current Axis release.

Well I can answer that one, the implementation of the
javax.xml.soap is
definately there, for example org.apache.axis.Message
extends
SOAPMessage.

If you set the system properties:

System.setProperty(
"javax.xml.soap.MessageFactory","org.apache.axis.soap.MessageFactoryImpl"
);

System.setProperty(
"javax.xml.soap.SOAPConnectionFactory","org.apache.axis.soap.SOAPConnectionFactoryImpl"
);

then you'd move your default SOAP implementation via
to Axis.
