Dear Michael, thanks much for your post. I followed
your suggestion, moved the "axis" directory to the
tomcat\webapps directory and the ran the happyaxis.jsp
which reported finding all required axis libraries and
I was able to access the AxisServlet Admin which
reported the server running. thanks again much
