I am using jdk 1.4.2 and my JVM is also 1.4.2. According to the instructions, if I am using jdk 1.4x I should copy the jar files from AXIS_HOME to TOMCAT_HOME/common/lib (??)
Tomcat is working and I am able to access the index.html file in the axis directory (http://localhost:8080/axis)
But when I click on the link (validate axis) I am getting exceptions as I mentioned in my original email.
(I copied the axis directory to webapps directory of tomcat !)
Please advise
Dayal

Posting the same problem multiple times won't help.

Why did you do this, it is not needed and generally considered bad form for web applications?

You don't provide much information that would be of any help. Does tomcat work, can you get to it's pages? All you should need to do is copy the axis directory from the axis-1_1\webapps directory to tomcat's webapps directory.
